Building contractors in Delaware must register with the Delaware
Dept. of Revenue. No testing is required.
Plumbers, electricians, and HVAC workers must be licensed by the
Delaware Division of Professional Licensing.
A trade exam must be passed to obtain a plumbing, electrical, or
HVACR license. A license application must be submitted and approved before the
exam can be taken.

Master Electrician shall mean a person, licensed by the Board, to plan, estimate, layout, perform or supervise the installation, erection or repair of any electrical conductor, duct, raceway, conduit, machinery, apparatus, device or fixture for the purpose of lighting, heating or power in any structure.
